Yes, we are alive and well ;)

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything, so unfortunately this might feel like another one of my never-ending blog posts.. however, I will try my best to make it as short and sweet as possible ;)
This summer has flown by so quickly and I can't believe it's already August 1st! I don't know where the days have gone... work, work, work, rental house, church, birthdays, baby showers, out of town visitors, basketball games, and sadly just a few lazy days by the pool; which were much enjoyed so I won't complain!

We finally pulled the house in Missouri back together and it is FOR SALE!

All new doors and trim.. check! All new windows.. check! New flooring throughout house.. check! Baseboards.. check! New fixtures.. check! Fresh paint.. check! An amazing husband who put his all into every inch of this house.. CHECK, and thank you Lord for the talents you have blessed him with and for giving him the strength to endure!! Oh and one more thing: bringing the perfect buyers to take a financial burden off our hands.. well, almost check and thank you Lord in advance ;)

Also, thanks so much to our family who went above and beyond in helping us with the house... you all are wonderful and we are so so so grateful for each one of you for your selflessness. We couldn't have done it without you!

Justin, Kari and Lucy took a road trip and came for a visit!! It was so super fun having them here and we miss them so much already. Lucy is such a sweet and loving little girl. We enjoyed every moment of her... she has quite a big personality for such small person! Justin, Kari, Kyle and I played non-stop Pictionary to continue carrying out McClain/Fadell family tradition... Saturday night we played until 5:30am!!!! Hey, don't judge us.. we still made it to church on Sunday!! It was such a blast even though Kari and I never made it to the finish line.. nope, not even once :( We'll get 'em next time... it's better for the men's self-esteem anyway, right? haha!!

Coming up on the agenda: bro J's bday August 4th which we won't get to spend with him :( , our 3 yr. wedding anniversary August 5th, wedding in Omaha August 22nd, Baby girl Allgood's birth.. sometime around the 3rd wk in August, wedding in KC September 12th and hopefully a trip to the Lake of the Ozarks before it gets too cold? aaaand still trying to plan a trip to CA.. probably won't happen 'til late fall.

I hope everyone has had a beautiful summer so far! I'll try to update a little more frequently so you're not getting such a large eye-full next time ;)
